International Industry Expert Talk by Mr. Munish Chahal

The Rajasthan Institute of Engineering & Technology organized a ‘One day workshop’ on INTERNATIONAL INDUSTRY EXPERT TALK on 4.10.18. The main speaker on this occasion was Mr Munish Chahal, GM, CS & I & Architecture Solution Leader, IBM GLOBAL SERVICES. RIET was also graced by the presence of Pro-VC RTU, Dr Rajeev Gupta on this day.

Principal RIET, Dr Saroj Hiranwal extended a warm welcome to Mr Munish Chahal and Dr Rajeev Gupta and addressed the guest and the gathering. Dean Academics & Admin, RIET, Prof. Kapil Dev Sharma and Vice Principal, RIET Dr Sachin Sharma, also welcomed the guests. The session was attended by all HODs, students and faculty members of RIET.

Pro-VC RTU, Dr Rajeev Gupta spoke at length about various aspects of the engineering field. He compared the modern era to the past and said that great leaders and farsighted intellectuals have given their inputs long ago what we perceive now in this century.

Mr Munish Chahal said that technical professionals view their careers as independent from a position or employer at any given time. Their personal identity seamlessly blends with their careers. A desire for constant learning is in the technical professionals, and that’s a significant motivation for working in this dynamic field. Investing time and resources in formal education and on-going professional development indicates that technical professional’s should value staying current and knowledgeable about their disciplines.

Dr Saroj Hiranwal, Principal RIET, said that the workshops of this kind help students to be aware of various technical qualities as is the demand of the current trends.

Dean Academics & Admin, RIET, Prof. Kapil Dev Sharma also said that engineers should follow their career in a professional way. He also expressed his gratitude to Mr Munish Chahal for giving his valuable time and imparting this knowledge.
