The celebration started with the academic procession in which the dignitaries namely, Dr. Vijendra Jhala, Ex- Deputy commissioner and senior IPS , Prof. (Dr.) A. K. Keshot, Ex-Professor, University of Rajasthan, Jaipur, Dr. S K jhajharia, Professor Emeritus, Department of EE , Dr. Awdhesh Kumar ,Ex Director, Research Deptt., All India Radio and Doordarshan ltd.

The awardee students were welcomed by Prof. Anoop Singh Poonia, Chairman RIET& Prof. (Dr) Saroj Hiranwal, Principal RIET. The dignitaries adorned the dias and after the customary invocation Vandana and lighting the lamp.

The management felicitated the guest with bouquet and were introduced to the gathering.

Principal, RIET, Dr. Saroj Hiranwal, addressed about RIET envisages itself as an institution of international eminence, which nurtures the advancement of professionally proficient genius and adds values to the nation-building. The engineers and the management personnel and encouraged them to follow their profession with zeal and passion.

The Guest of honor Prof. (Dr.) A. K. Keshot congratulated the alumnis. He addressed that hard work is the only key to achieve the goal of our life, it teaches us discipline, dedication and determination.

The Guest of honor Dr. S K jhajharia, addressed that students can start their career with a small job without any hesitation. Success isn’t always about greatness, It’s about consistency. Consistent hard work leads to success. Therefore, we should take first step forward

The Guest of honor Dr. Awdhesh Kumar, addressed that poverty is not a hindrance for education. Poverty does not hinder the strong determination of persons who really want to achieve their goals.

The chief guest Dr. Vijendra Jhala informed that there is no age limit for learning until your passion towards curiosity ends. Also spoke about teachers that they play an important role in our life to become successful in career. They helps us to become good human being in the society and good citizen of the country.

The Honorable Chairman, Prof Anoop Singh Poonia spoke to the students and encouraged and appreciated all for their hard work and contribution towards their profession and Also Prof Poonia ensure that the strong BOG/AAB/IAB is always ready for all kind of support in future.

After this oath taking ceremony is conducted by chief guest, Dr. Vijendra Jhala. Swearing an oath reminds alumni’s of their professional responsibilities and social duties.

The ceremony continued with the patriotic national anthem sung in unison by all present and ended with vote of thanks by Mr. Ravi Jain, Examination Controller.

A High tea and snacks was served to all the awardees.
