Rajasthan Institute of Engineering & Technology organized a mega event of Ideationology Challenge 2019, on 18th May in the college campus, Bhankrota, Ajmer Road, Jaipur. This programme was sponsored by the TEQIP-III, which is the Project, Third phase of Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme (referred to as TEQIP-III) .The state coordinator of TEQIP-III, Prof (Dr) Uday A Dabade, graced the inaugural event as the chief Guest. This massive event was conducted in association with Intelecta Inc, USA. The Founder and senior consultant of Intelecta Inc., USA Mr Ravi Gupta CEO explained the idea behind the programme .
Ideationology is an EdTech start-up based in RIET College Jaipur, (A subsidiary of Intellecta, Inc.USA). The mission of the Ideationology Lab is to skill-able the pre-screened Engineering students in the fields of advanced IT technologies like Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning, Virtual/Augmented Reality, Drone Design and programming, Internet of things, Data Analytics, Devops etc.
The Ideationology Lab was also inaugurated on this auspicious day, by the chief guest, Prof (Dr) Uday A Dabade, The state coordinator of TEQIP-III, along with the other honored guests on the occasion. The occasion was initiated by Chairman BOG, RIET, Shri R S Tomar, Principal, RIET Prof. (Dr.) Saroj Hiranwal, Vice Principal (RIET), Dr Sachin Sharma, Dean Academics RIET, Prof Kapil Dev Sharma, T&P Advisor RIET, Prof D D Johri. All the HODs, faculty members and more than 500 students also put in their presence.
The other luminaries were Mr G K Choudhary, Deputy Secretary, Ministry of skill development India, Dr Dhirendra Mathur, TEQIP-III coordinator, RTU Kota, Mr P M Bharadwaj, Founder President Bharadwaj Foundation, a well known Motivational and Management Guru, Mr Ravi Gupta, The Founder and senior consultant of Intellecta Inc, Mrs. Nirmala Sharma and Prof Sudheer Kumar, MNIT Jaipur
Some other respected guests on the list were, Mr Ram, Mr Muruganandan, Dr Y K Sharma, Prof Vishal Verma, Prof Ajay, Mrs.Kavita Sharma Mr Arun singhal ji, from various prestigious and educational institutions.
Speaking on the occasion, Principal, RIET Prof. (Dr.) Saroj Hiranwal highlighted the importance of “Ideationology Challenge 2019” and of giving the young minds the environment and resources to show their potential. She enlightened the audience with the importance of the IT sector and the Artificial Intelligence in the current environment. Prof Kapil Dev Sharma, Dean Academics, in his speech, informed briefly about the event specially mentioning that this event is the first of its kind in Rajasthan and a very novel one in the country. He mentioned that this challenge is Open for any age, gender, education level etc. Teams from School/College/Startup/Individual person can register. Benefiting section includes social, security, education, environment, financial, healthcare and industrial. Speaking to the students and the young technocrats and participants, he urged them to always explore new possibilities
After the inauguration of the Ideationology Lab, various participants put forth their project, which was judged by the panel of jury, based on their technological knowhow, the project’s benefit in social, security, education, agriculture, environment, finance, healthcare and industrial use.
Shortlisted teams encountered each other in this challenge, “The Battle of Ideas”, in the “Ideationology Challenge 2019” out of which 10 teams are selected for ROUND 2.
